After firmware update to 1.0.07 version, I have a problem with the Cisco Web Assistant. How to disable?

Is there anyone who can help me to turn off this frustrating re-directing search to Cisco Linksys Websearch powered by Yahoo? I read this, but on router > administratiton > management have no option Cisco Web Assistant: Enable Disable.

There is no such feature on the router...

Have you tried on the different computer...?You can try on different computer.Also,try to reset the browser and check.As you have upgraded the firmware on the router,I would also suggest you to reset the router and re-configure it from scratch.

This began to happen when I update the firmware to version 1.0.07 which is the last version. And yes, I tried everything you listed! I also connected the modem directly to my computer and then I had no problems.

It redirects to websearch.linksys.com

I have the same router as well.  It is pissing me off.

You are not alone with your frustration with the cisco web assistant.  I am in the market for a new router to replace my wrt110 and it looks like it will not be a cisco!

I'm having the same problem. Using WRT110 .07 firmware when i try to go here http://www.erightsoft.net/SupCk2.html I get redirected here http://websearch.linksys.com/error_redirect_site/get_error_redirect?eg=-1387226884&job=www.erightsof.... This started after I updated to the .07 firmware.

Here are two screenshots. The first is after typing the URL in but before pressing enter. The second is after pressing enter.

Same exact problem here after updating the firmware.  No such feature ?  More like "no way to turn off this feature".  I guess I'm resorting back to the previous version.

I am having the same problem on my WRT100 after I updated my firmware from 1.0.03 to 1.0.07 and now I get DNS issues and re-direct to the linksys websearch site. this is my 2nd cisco route and I think it will be my last if its not fixed soon.
