I see everyone is looking for this firmware file. I Googled and Yahoo'd this exact name and can not find any links for it.
Well I have it and downloaded it personally from Linksys on 01/31/2008
I am not willing to host it, but I will email it to the first 5 posts that request it. Post your email address to this thread. I will check back for the next 5 days or until the 5 requests are made.
BTW, the file is 2.8 MB

Just a little note. When accessing the camera from a Windows PC for the first time, a plug-in is sent from the camera.
The plug-in will not install if you have the current (2010) date on your PC. Temporarily roll back your PC's date to 2008, then it will install. This even worked on a Windows 7 Pro PC with IE8.

I have no problems with the recent firmware, but for those who have and thanks to eq2675 for providing the file.
Download the old firmware WVC54GCA_FW_100R24.zip
Just a small disclaimer for people that tend to screw things up and then blame others, I am in no way responsible for any damages that this file can cause.
Use it at your own risk.

FWIW, I have ran this version of the firmware on my 2 WVC54GCA's for about 2 years. They are connected wirelessly to my network using WPA/PSK and a 63 char key.
As long as I assign a static IP to the cameras I would say they are 90% reliable. The times I do have issues, they seem to be power related. A reboot of the cameras usually always sync back up to the network. Wireless router (WRT54GL) and PC on battery backups. Cameras are just on house current.
