Oat found me in my regular forums, and asked for the 1.00.14 FW I uploaded there. I didn't realize that so many people were asking for it.

Anyway for those who are interested I compiled myself the 1.00.14 fw from the GPL code for my router - (its just for PSTN lines or annexA).

please note that its something i made for myself, and i cant guarantee that it will work for you. im not an official representative  of linksys or anything. I hope you unterstand that.

I tested it and it run smooth than older firmware but  it has problem with remote management (redirect to linksys search page.

Anyway you complie yourself that's make me feel better than before

Man, you're a real life saver. I've waiting for ages for the new firmware. Finally a decent piece of code that make this device work perfectly. I was having the 1.00.12 problems so I returned my device and received a new one 1.00.9. That firmware was a bit stable, but I was having problems with my voip and my wirless range speed. It was not a constant 60mbit or 54 mbit.

Now with this version you compiled, its rock solid

I bought this gateway  about 8 months ago and I have never had an ADSL connection longer than 20 minutes then I swithed to another brand months ago. I tested 1.00.14 today and it's been more than 7 hours now and no ADSL dropout.:-)

no other issue tested since ADSL dropout was my main problem...

hope to see an official release soon

Does this fix the wireless network disconnection issues?

Right just installed it and looks ok so far.

 I was on v 1.00.07 of the firmware before.

It's fixed the name resolution on wireless devices so I can browse files on other machines, this may have been fixed in version 1.00.10 - not sure.

I have had the connection up for about 10 mins and the gateway is stable so far.

The main problem I was having was all clients disconnecting. I found it seemed to happen when media streaming from pc (wireless n) to ps3 (ethernet). Difficult to replicate precise conditions - It could go for hours before happening but I'll give it a couple of days of up time and see what happens. I'll post any findings as and when.

One other thing. My adsl connection is syncing at approx 5Mb/s,before the update it was 4Mb/s.

Wait, wait... what just happened here? Someone revives a thread about .14, kkkong posts somethings that gets edited and now it's referring to Linksys's official .14 yet linked to .15.

I guess that means that there's still no Bonjour fix...

Hi, I am also experiencing the same wireless drop-off issues with my WAG160N V1 router (1.00.09) which 1.00.14 could fix except I live in Germany and need an Annex B version. Is there one and if not how do I create the firmware from the GPL version. Thanks in advance.
